KELSO - Burglars last week made off with thousands of dollars in silver and gold from a Kelso home.
Cowlitz County deputies said on April 4, thieves stole a large Sentry Safe with thousands of 1 oz US silver “eagle” coins and 1 oz Canadian silver “wolf” coins, gold “eagle” and “buffalo” coins, and a 10oz bar of silver from the Kelso home.
The silver coins were in tubes and a box with numbers 1 through 63 on the lid and the year of the coins on the tubes.
Also stolen, were a .22 semi-auto Luger, two rifles and two shotguns and a blue Yamaha Raptor ATV.
Anyone with information was asked to call police.
