LINCOLN CITY, Ore. – Rip currents continue to pose dangers at the Oregon Coast this weekend.

Lifeguards made back-to-back rescues Sunday at Lincoln City.

Just before 1 p.m., two people were rescued from the D River Wayside near where a woman drowned Sunday. One of the people was taken to North Lincoln Hospital.

Then, just after 1 p.m., three more people were rescued from rip currents at Roads End Park. All three were taken to North Lincoln Hospital.
