VANCOUVER -- Police have offered a $1,000 reward for information leading to the suspect in a hit-and-run that killed two Vancouver women.
Three people were walking across Northeast Vancouver Mall Drive at Northeast 72nd Avenue when they were hit by a pickup truck at about 8 p.m. Sunday, said Kim Kapp of the Vancouver Police Department.
Raisa Mosh, 45, died at the scene. Her 12-year-old son suffered minor injuries. Irina Gardinant, 28, was taken to a nearby hospital, where she died Monday morning.

The suspect vehicle was described as a white, 2005 to 2008 Toyota Tacoma pickup (similar to the one pictured). It should have front end, grill and headlight damage.
A black, full-size pickup was following the white pickup and was also possibly involved in the crash, Kapp said. Neither driver stopped to check on the victims.
Crime Stoppers has offered a cash reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to an arrest in the case.
