Report: Kelso man surrenders after hostage standoff

KELSO, Wash. -- A man who allegedly held two women hostage was arrested after a standoff with police, the Daily News reported.

David Michael Aaron Baker, 26, surrendered to police Thursday morning after allegedly holding his girlfriend and her mother hostage in an apartment at 103 Florence Street.

Baker released his girlfriend and her mother around 8 a.m. and then relented to police and a SWAT team at about 10:30 a.m.

The Daily News said no injuries have been reported at this time.
