VANCOUVER -- A Clark County restaurant is back in business, but facing legal troubles after a salmonella outbreak, according to a newspaper report.

The Columbian reported a Happy Valley couple sickened after eating at On The Border in east Vancouver is suing the restaurant and its parent company, Chili’s Beverage Company.

Daniel and Allison Maynard are among more than 80 people who developed symptoms of salmonella after eating at the restaurant.

The lawsuit seeks damages for pain and suffering, as well as medical costs, the paper reported.
