SALEM – A Portland teen was arrested Tuesday after attempting to evade a state trooper at speeds of over 120 mph, police said.

Oliver Brassard, 18, of Southeast Portland was arrested for speeding and felony attempt to elude, according to Oregon State Police.

Around 10:20 p.m. Tuesday, a state trooper spotted Brassard in a Honda Acura doing 95 mph on Interstate 5 near milepost 254. As the trooper attempted to stop Brassard, he moved into the center lane and sped up to over 120 mph, police said.

The driver eventually yielded to police at the Keizer interchange.
