PORTLAND -- A new survey ranked Portland as the most hipster-friendly city in the country.
The Movoto “lighter side of real estate” blog compared the Rose City with other hipster hubs – including the very popular Austin, Texas.
The researchers found that Austin had more hipster-aged people (20 to 34) and the most “artsy” jobs, but Portland led all the other categories.
The bloggers said that from vegetarian restaurants and farmers' markets, to vintage clothing stores and record shops, Portland’s hipster draws surpass all others.
The bloggers overwhelmingly declared Portland the most hipster city in America.
