PORTLAND -- To celebrate the opening of Portland's public pools, the city is offering a free swimming lesson from June 20-24.
Registration for the free lesson must be in-person on Saturday, June 18 from 8 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. at city pools.

“Opening day for all pools is June 20,” said Nancy Roth with Portland Parks and Recreation, “and parents who want to enroll their children in swimming lessons should act now.”
