PORTLAND - Police looking for a mother and her 7-month-old girl, who may have been in medical danger, found the pair safe Friday night.
Amirah Conteh was believed to be with her mother, 20-year-old Musu Conteh.
Investigators said it was not considered a kidnapping of any sort and that the mother may not be aware of her baby's medical issues.
The baby was recieving medical attention and both were safe, police said.
