PORTLAND -- A man was shot in Portland Saturday during a dispute over stolen Christmas presents, police said.
Keytar Plaza Donesouda, 31, walked in to Portland Adventist Medical Center just before midnight, suffering from a gunshot wound, said Portland police Sgt. Pete Simpson.
Officers arrived and spoke with Donesouda, who said he had been shot outside a home in the 3300 block of Northeast 122nd Avenue after arguing with someone over alleged stolen gifts, Simpson said.
Police found and arrested the suspect, 44-year-old Martin Luther Hartley, on charges including attempted murder.
Officers then found out that Donesouda's girlfriend, 33-year-old Xaykham Chanthavong, had driven him to the hospital in a stolen truck. She was arrested for unlawful use of a motor vehicle and possession of a stolen motor vehicle.
Donesouda's injuries were not thought to be life-threatening.
