PORTLAND -- A man was shot by intruders in his Northeast Portland home Saturday evening, police said.
Just after 5 p.m. police responded to the report of a shooting in the 5800 block of NE Portland Highway, according to Lt. Robert King of the Portland Police Bureau.
Responding officers learned the man had been shot during a home invasion robbery, King said.
The victim was taken to a nearby hospital with injuries that were not believed to be life-threatening.
The two suspects were described as white men with medium builds.
