PORTLAND -- A Portland couple was attacked with a molotov cocktail late Tuesday night and police said they have one suspect in custody.
Kazimerz Garski faces several charges, including assault and unlawful use of a weapon. “Molotov cocktail” is a generic term used for a variety of homemade bottle-based bombs.
Police believe Garski threw his molotov cocktail at the couple near Southeast 105th Avenue and Rex Street.
It exploded about 15 feet away from the couple and no one was hurt.
Police have not said if the suspect knew the couple or if the attack was random.
