PORTLAND -- Landslide and shifting soil had streets in Northwest Portland closed Friday, and a freezing rain advisory was issued.
NW Imperial Terrace was closed between NW Calumet Terrace and NW MacLeay Boulevard because of moving earth above the street.
SW Skyline Boulevard also reopened Friday after a landslide. Geologists and city crews were assessing the hillside.
City officials said some drivers were ignoring barricades at NW Westover. Driving past barricades may be punishable by a $360 citation.

The National Weather Service issued a freezing rain advisory Friday afternoon for areas east of Interstate 205, toward the Columbia River Gorge. The advisory was in effect until midnight.
In downtown Portland, near NW 23rd and Burnside, culverts were overflowing with water and debris as rain and snowmelt washed down from the West Hills. Water was funneling rocks and mud onto the roadway in the higher elevations towards NW Skyline.
Johnson Creek in Clackamas County rose above flood stage Thursday and dropped off significantly by Friday, forecasters said.
Flooded areas were reported from SE 92nd Avenue to SW 122nd Avenue and between the creek and SW Harold Street.
Portland Bureau Of Transportation officials said not only streets and creeks, but many buildings were also in danger of flooding in the area.

People were advised to stay away from high water because of bacteria and debris flows.

- SE 111th Avenue and SE Harold Street at the southeast corner of the intersection, and
- SW 42nd Avenue and SW Vermont Street in the lower parking lot of Gabriel Park.
