PORTLAND -- Portland police were asking for the public's help in catching a pair of burglars who were terrorizing businesses along SW Macadam Avenue and other areas nearby.

Police say the two crooks break in together, often around 4 or 5 a.m. Since September, they’ve hit Macadam Bar and Grill, Elephant’s Deli, Fulton Pub, the Szechuan Chef and Thai PK Restaurant.

Thai PK was hit twice.

“I feel really bad. I cannot believe it, that it happens in this area,” said co-owner Pamormarong Promparasert.

Customers like Debbie West and Laurie Willman were furious that someone would attack their favorite restaurant.

“We don’t have that many choices in this area. We would hate to lose, like the Thai Restaurant! It’s the only Thai restaurant!” said Laurie.

“It’s our Friday night treat!” said Debbie.

The same crooks were caught on tape burglarizing a business called Massage Envy.

Crime Stoppers was offering a reward of up to $1,000 for tips that lead to an arrest in the case.
