PORTLAND -- Tactical police raided an apartment building in Old Town about 5 a.m. Thursday that turned up methamphetamine, weapons, body armor and several stolen bicycles.
The bust was part of a federal drug trafficking investigation, Sgt. Pete Simpson said.
Squads from Portland police and the Washington County Sheriff's Office entered the Hip Sing Association building at 211 Northwest 3rd Street.
Several bicycles and computers were also found during the raid that investigators said may be stolen. (See photos at right.)
