PORTLAND – Detectives were investigating the scene after a man was found dead in a North Portland home Sunday morning.
Just after 11 a.m., a family member called 9-1-1 and reported a 60-year-old man was dead in a home in the 4100 block of North Missouri Avenue, said Sgt. Pete Simpson with Portland police.
After medics arrived, they called Portland police to investigate.
Forensic detectives and the medical examiner were at the scene assisting with the investigation.
Police said there is no reason to believe the neighborhood is in danger.
