PORTLAND — Detectives Friday arrested a man for murder in a Southeast Portland Christmas Eve shooting death, police said.
Terry Lee Rolin, 61, died of a gunshot wound, according to the state medical examiner.
Police arrested 62-year-old Mickey Omega Rolin Friday for murder and booked him in the Multnomah County Jail. Investigators confirmed the men were brothers.
Around 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, police responded to reports of a domestic disturbance and gunshots in the 3700 block of Southeast 67th Avenue.
Police arrived to find Terry Lee Rolin suffering from critical injuries. Emergency responders tried to assist him, but he died at the scene, police said.
Homicide detectives were called to the location to investigate. Officers spoke with the victim's family members who said there was some sort of disturbance just before the shooting, but they don't know what the fight was about.
"I'm very sad, very sad to hear that," said neighbor Elaine Badger.
