LONGVIEW, Wash. – A would-be home invasion suspect got a scare at gunpoint in Longview, Washington Sunday night.
A woman who lives on Larch Street thought she heard someone trying to get into the home and grabbed her husband’s 9 mm, according to The Daily News.
Police told the paper a man trying to open the door stepped back on to the porch as the unidentified husband took the gun and pointed it at the suspect. The man begged him not to shoot before fleeing on foot, the paper said.
Police arrested 25-year-old Joshua Robert Pratt about two blocks away. He was identified by the homeowners as the suspect, police said.
