WILSONVILLE, Ore. -- The suspect in an armed robbery at a Wilsonville hotel over the weekend has now been linked to two bank robberies in Washington, police said.
The man was caught on surveillance video robbing the Super 8 motel on Southwest Parkway at gunpoint just after 9 p.m. Saturday, said Sgt. Dan Kraus with the Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office.
Police said Monday they believe the suspect also robbed a King County bank on Aug. 30 and a Tacoma bank on Sept. 4.
He was described as white, 35 to 40 years old, with short, dark hair and a large tattoo on his forearm. He was seen leaving the King County robbery in a gold Toyota Corolla-type car with Oregon plates, Kraus said.
Anyone with information was asked to call the sheriff's office at (503) 723-4949 or submit a tip via email here.
