PORTLAND – Police are looking for a suspect who stabbed a man in Old Town Portland Thursday morning.
The suspect was described as a white man in his mid 30s, 5-foot-7, with a medium build. He was reportedly wearing a maroon jacket, white T-shirt and gray pants. He was armed with a knife, police said.
Witnesses told police the suspect was last seen running north on Southwest 9th Avenue.
It all started at 11:24 a.m. when police found a 38-year-old man who had traumatic injuries after he was stabbed in the torso. The victim was awake and alert at the scene before he was taken to the hospital, police said.
