PORTLAND -- Portland police say an off-duty officer has been arrested for investigation of DUI and reckless driving.

Sgt. Pete Simpson says Kent Scott was arrested Tuesday night after a traffic stop in southeast Portland.

The 53-year-old Scott is a 22-year veteran of the Portland department who has been assigned to the transit police division.

The spokesman says Scott has been given an off-street assignment during the investigation and an internal review.
