PORTLAND – Police arrested a man for firing shots near Northeast MLK and Fremont Wednesday.
No one was hit, police said.
Witnesses told investigators someone fired shots from a smaller, dark-colored car then sped out of the area eastbound on Fremont.
Detectives arrested 48-year-old Elbert Phillips for shooting at a car, which his wife may have been in at the time.
He faced weapons and reckless endangerment charges.
