KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. – The body of a Northeast Portland man was found along a road in Klamath County Monday and investigators think he was murdered.
Police were searching for 3 persons of interest in the homicide investigation and were hoping that the public may help with tips.
Cheng Sio Saechao, 28, was found dead along on South Chiloquin Road near Highway 62.
David Mogelberg, 33, of Klamath Falls (pictured top left) turned himself into police. He was arrested and held on murder and arson accusations.
He had been wanted on a felony warrant for assaulting a public safety officer.
Police believe Mogelberg may have been traveling with two other people, who investigators would also like to question about the Saechao case.
Descriptions of the other two have not been released.
They were last seen driving a blue Jeep Cherokee possibly displaying Arkansas or Arizona license plates. The vehicle has mismatched rims; the front rims are black, the rear right rim is silver, and the left rear rim is white and a 5-spoke style.
The public was advised not to approach the persons of interest or the vehicle. They should instead call 911 for help.
Anyone with information that may help investigators was urged to call the Klamath Falls Police Department at (541) 883-5336 and ask to be connected with the Command Post.
