PORTLAND -- A Multnomah County gang sting netted 40 arrests, as well as the seizure of 74 guns, 8 lbs. of drugs and more than $50,000 in cash, officials said Monday.
Several high-level gang members accused of dealing drugs and firearms have been arrested as part of the monthlong bust, dubbed "White Christmas," said spokeswoman Gerri Badden of the office of U.S. Attorney Amanda Marshall.
Police also recovered stolen property, including bicycles and electronic equipment.
Forty people, including several career criminals, are facing charges in federal court, Badden said.
