PORTLAND – Oregon State Police were asking for the public’s help Wednesday in locating a missing, medically endangered man, last seen at the Gateway Transit Center in March.
On April 21, Randel Jon Brown, 51, was reported missing. Brown’s mother contacted police saying that Brown had been in Portland visiting his wife at the hospital and had not been seen since March 8, according to Lt. Gregg Hastings with Oregon State Police.
Brown suffers from mental illness and so does his wife, Hastings said. Brown stayed two nights at a motel in the 3800 block of North Interstate Avenue. His bank account has not seen any activity since March 8, police said.
Brown was described as white, five foot-six inches tall, 200 pounds and balding with white hair and brown eyes.
Anyone with information regarding Brown’s location was asked to call Oregon State Police at 800-452-7888 or Sergeant Robert Fenner at 541-883-5713, firstname.lastname@example.org.
