PORTLAND -- A Portland bicyclist who had been missing since Feb. 19. was found dead Wednesday after accidentally drowning in the Willamette River.
The body of 22-year-old Tyler Brady, 22, was found in the water near OMSI. The Multnomah County Medical Examiner's Office confirmed the cause of death as accidental drowning Thursday afternoon.
Brady was last seen by a roommate at their home on SE Division. He was reported missing and then police circulated photos from surveillance videos, hoping someone would recognize him and share clues that might help them solve the disappearance. The images from surveillance cameras showed him on his bicycle on Feb. 17th outside a Safeway store, near the Lloyd Center, and at the Couture Ultra Lounge.

Tyler owned a car but regularly commuted by bike. Even after finding the body, police said they still have not been able to locate Tyler's bicycle.
Brady’s father Dave traveled to Portland from Idaho to help in the search. He said Tyler would always check in once a week by phone, but he had not heard from him for some time. He also found Tyler's belongings still in his room and said it did not look like he had packed to go anywhere.
Anyone with information that may help in the investigation was urged to contact detective Mike Weinstein (503) 823-0446.
