MCMINNVILLE, Ore. – The Evergreen Wings and Waves Waterpark in McMinnville filled its pools, preparing for its grand opening in June.
The park, billed as “the nation’s only educational and aviation-themed water park,” dumped 91,703 gallons of water into its wave pool Friday.

“We’re just two months away from the park’s grand opening and this is an exciting next step,” said Dave Garske with Hoffman Construction. “We’re very excited to see the park come to life with water.”
The water park, right next to the Evergreen Aviation and Space Museum, will feature 10 waterslides, a wave pool and a museum that will teach children about the power and necessity of water.
