CAVE JUNCTION, Ore. -- A manhunt is under way for a murder suspect just north of the California/Oregon border.

Daniel Joseph Martinson, 44, is wanted by police in connection with a November 2013 homicide in Cave Junction.

The search was centered Wednesday on a remote wooded area near Page Mountain Sno-Park, in the southeast corner of Josephine County, police said.

Martinson was spotted several times Tuesday night and Wednesday morning, and has eluded officers on a black motorcycle with a red gas tank.

Troopers described him as white, 5-foot-6 and 155 pounds. Martinson (pictured) is missing a front tooth and has a tattoo on his back of a pit bull with the word "Outlaw" under it.

He was wearing a full camouflage outfit and had recently shaved his head when he was last spotted.

Anyone who sees him is warned not to approach him, but instead to call 911 immediately.
