PORTLAND – A robber trying to break in to steal money from a Northwest Portland apartment’s laundry machines attacked the manager before fleeing, police said Tuesday.
Officers were called to 2062 Northwest Marshall Street where the manager confronted a man who broke in to the building on Tuesday.
Police soon found the unidentified suspect hiding in a courtyard in the 1700 block of NW Marshall St. The manager was not seriously hurt.
