GRESHAM, Ore. – The pedestrian who was injured when he was hit by a car in Gresham on New Year’s Day was still in critical condition nearly one week later.

Raymond Lopez, 38, of Gresham was hit by a Honda when he was crossing Northeast Liberty Street near East Powell Boulevard.

Lopez was taken to Oregon Health & Science University, where he remained in critical condition nearly a week after the crash.

One of Lopez’s friends set up a Fundrazr page to help Lopez with his medical bills.
