PORTLAND -- A man was dropped off at a Portland hospital with a gunshot wound to his face early Friday morning, police said.
Police were called just before 1 a.m. to the report of shots fired in the parking lot of the Pitiful Princess night club, at 12646 SE Division St., according to Portland police Sgt. Pete Simpson.
Officers found evidence of a shooting, but no victims or suspects, Simpson said.
A short time later, Troutdale police pulled over a car that may have been at the scene when shots were fired, Simpson said. The driver was arrested on a parole violation, but police don't know if he was involved in the shooting.
At the same time as the traffic stop, officers found out that 21-year-old gunshot victim Damariea Ramone Harris had been dropped off at a Portland hospital, Simpson said. Harris was listed in serious condition Friday afternoon.
A gang enforcement team was investigating. Anyone with information on the shooting was asked to call Detective Mitch Hergert at 503-823-2081.
