PORTLAND -- A man was arrested on a TriMet bus Wednesday after he claimed he had a handgun "loaded and cocked," police said.
Patrick O'Brian Nolin, 41, was taken into custody after police boarded a TriMet bus at Northeast 82nd Avenue and Sandy Boulevard.
Police were called when the bus driver overheard Nolin saying, perhaps to another passenger, that he had a gun and it was "loaded and cocked," according to Sgt. Pete Simpson with the Portland Police Bureau.
No gun was found on Nolin, nor on the bus. He was arrested without incident and charged with interfering with public transportation, police said.
