PORTLAND -- A man has died after the van he was driving crashed into a propane truck in North Portland Monday morning, police said.
Just after 8 a.m. police responded to the crash on N Columbia Boulevard and N Peninsular Avenue, according to Portland Police Lt. Robert King.
The driver of the van was taken to a nearby hospital, where he later died from injuries suffered in the crash.
The driver of the propane truck was hospitalized with injuries that weren't believed to be life-threatening.
A major crash team was investigating.
