EUGENE, Ore. -- A Eugene man has been convicted of sexually abusing two international students at the University of Oregon.
The Register-Guard reports 35-year-old Christopher Mack faces more than six years in prison at Thursday's sentencing.
Lane County Judge Debra Vogt found Mack guilty following a non-jury trial. Defense attorney David Hill said he will appeal
The prosecution said Mack groped the women in separate incidents last summer.
In one case, a UO Police report said a man approached a female student near the Matthew Knight Arena and asked directions. The woman kept walking.
The man then came up behind her, grabbed her chest and thrust his hips into her back, leaving a bodily fluid on her clothing.
Court records indicate DNA evidence led to Mack's identification as a suspect.
