PORTLAND – A Portland man accused of inappropriately touching young girls while they waited for or rode on TriMet buses earlier this year was arrested Tuesday.
Jason Raynard Tomlin, 46, was charged with two counts of sex abuse.
A 14-year-old girl told police a man who matched Tomlin’s description sat next to her on a TriMet bus and made sexually explicit comments, then inappropriately touched her. She said it happened while the bus was in the area of North Woolsey Avenue and Trenton Street on Jan. 23rd.

Two weeks later, a 13-year-old girl told police a man touched her inappropriately in the TriMet bus shelter at North Dekum Street and Durham Ave. She said he first approached her, using sexually explicit language, as she waited for the bus she rides to school.
Police said surveillance video helped them identify Tomlin as the suspect. He was booked into the Multnomah County Jail.
