LINCOLN CITY -- A Lincoln City man has been arrested on sex abuse accusations involving a 13-year-old girl.
The man's actions were reported to police on Oct. 28 and detectives arrested Christopher James Atkinson, 24, on Wednesday. He and the girl are not acquainted, according to Det. Mike Leake.
Atkinson is accused of first-degree kidnapping, two counts of first-degree sodomy, three counts of second-degree sodomy, three counts of first-degree sex abuse, second-degree sexual penetration with a foreign object, attempt to commit and crime and fourth-degree assault.
He is in the Lincoln County jail on $265,000 bail.
