SALEM -- The suspect in a Lake Oswego man’s murder last year will stand trial, a judge determined.
Erik Meiser is accused of killing 57-year-old Fritz Hayes in his home on September 17.

A judge in December ruled Meiser was unable to aid in his own defense, but he has since undergone a mental evaluation and was deemed fit to stand trial.
His lawyers plan to fight the ruling, claiming he suffers from delusions. He was scheduled to appear in court again April 22.
