ARLINGTON, Ore. – A semi truck crashed 11 miles west of Arlington on Interstate 84 Monday, damaging hundreds of feet of guardrail and spilling 50 gallons of diesel oil.

Jose Uribe, 49, was driving westbound from Moxee, Wash. when his truck traveled outside of the lane and crashed into a guardrail just before a bridge, said Lt. Gregg Hastings of the Oregon State police.

The truck damaged more than 600 feet of guardrail along I-84 before stopping. A damaged fuel tank spilled about 50 gallons of diesel oil.

A Hazardous Materials response team contained the diesel spill and helped to clean up the scene.

No injuries were reported. Uribe was cited for failing to drive in lane.
