I-84 lane closures planned in Troutdale for bridge repairs

TROUTDALE, Ore. – Several lanes will be closed, starting Thursday night, for bridge repairs on Interstate-84 in Troutdale.

The multiple lane closures will begin at 10 p.m. and end at 6 a.m. daily through Sunday, November 22, according to the Oregon Department of Transportation.

“The bridge maintenance will require crews to access the underside of the bridge on I-84 crossing over railroad tracks west of exit 17 in Troutdale,” said ODOT spokesman Dave Thompson.

The lane closures will take place as follows:

* Nov. 19, crews will close the left and center lanes of I-84 eastbound
* Nov. 20, crews will close the left and center lanes of I-84 westbound
* Nov. 21, crews will close the right lane of I-84 eastbound
* Nov. 22 crews will close the right lane of I-84 westbound

Drivers were warned to watch for crews and equipment on the roadway.
