SALEM – “Ace,” a horse rescued last week after he was trapped in a flooded Salem field paid a visit Saturday to the firefighters who rescued him.

“Ace” had his legs tangled in barbwire and couldn’t move was flood waters raised up to his neck during last weekend’s torrential downpour and flooding in the Willamette Valley.
