EUGENE, Ore. (AP) -- A federal judge says a bullying lawsuit against the Harrisburg School District can go to trial.
Magistrate Judge Thomas Coffin in Eugene upheld the family's claim that school officials failed to protect a seventh-grade boy from physical abuse by other students.
The Register-Guard reports the judge dismissed other claims of anti-gay harassment and discrimination because of the boy's disability, Tourette's syndrome.
Trial is set for Dec. 4.
