GLADSTONE, OR-- What do you get the woman who has everything? Or when she's turning 103, the woman who's seen everything. In the case of Dorothy Fairbanks, a great grandmother from Sandy, you give her the experience of a lifetime.

“I’m trying to think of something different that would give me thrill,” said Fairbanks. “I’m almost 103 now, I can really enjoy it.”

So she's checking off another item on her birthday bucket list. This time, it’s riding in the sidecar of a Harley motorcycle.

“I’m tough and rugged. I think it will be fun,” she said laughing.

“We call her the get-around-grandma because she never sat still for a moment. This was her idea,” said grandson Christian Normand.

And when your 103-year-old grandmother tells you she wants to ride a Harley for her birthday, you figure out a way. Normand called Latus Motors over in Gladstone and just like that, Dorothy got her wish.

Dorothy went up in a hot air balloon for her 100th birthday and said she's considering sky diving next.
