PORTLAND – A woman stabbed her boyfriend in an argument over drugs in Southeast Portland Sunday morning, police said.
At 6:45 a.m., police found the man suffering from a stab wound to the side near Southeast 127th Avenue and Southeast Market Street, said Sgt. Pete Simpson with Portland police.
The man was taken to the hospital with injuries that were not believed to be life threatening. Police then spotted the suspect, who was reportedly the man’s girlfriend, and took her into custody, Simpson said.
Police believe the couple was arguing over drugs. Domestic violence investigators were continuing to look into the attack.
