GOVERNMENT CAMP, Ore. – Mt. Hood Skibowl is offering free skiing and snowboarding Sunday.
Lift tickets are free from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m., but non-perishable food donations are welcome, said resort owner Kirk Hanna.
“The last full day of the season is our traditional Customer Appreciation Day, no strings attached,” Hanna said. “And as in recent years, we would like to suggest a donation of four cans of food to benefit the Portland Police Sunshine Division.”
He also said late spring snowfall will make for great ski conditions Sunday, to cap off a long and successful season.
After the resort closes for the season, staff will start to transform the area into the Mt. Hood Adventure Park at Skibowl.
