LAKEVIEW, Ore. – Police are searching for a former deputy wanted on sex-abuse charges and teen girl who they say may be with him.

Kenneth Turkle, 42, a former Lake County Sheriff’s Office deputy from Lakeview, is wanted on multiple sex abuse charges, according to Oregon State Police.

Turkle is believed to be with Marriah Andrews, 17, of Lakeview. Andrews’ family reported her missing last week. She was last seen Friday in the Grants Pass area where she was staying with a friend.

Andrews left with a man, later identified as Turkle.

When OSP contacted Turkle, they were told he didn’t know where Andrews was. Now, they can’t find either Turkle or Andrews.

Police said the two were involved in a sexual relationship and they believe Andrews may be in danger.

Turkle was described as a white man of average height, 180 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. Andrews was described as a white woman, 5 feet 4 inches tall, 130 pounds with blonde hair, blue eyes and a pierced nose.

Anyone with information about either Turkle or Andrews’ whereabouts was asked to call OSP at (541) 947-2267.
