TILLAMOOK, Ore. -- Searchers have found the body of a fisherman from Beaverton who slipped into the Wilson River with waders on Monday night.

Divers said they found Richard Belhumeur's body in about fifteen feet of water, approximately a quarter of a mile downstream from where he fell in.

Belhumeur's son initially reported the accident to authorities. He said his father was crossing the Wilson River near Keenig Creek when he slipped and was swept downstream.

Rescue crews from Tillamook, Garibaldi and the U.S. Coast Guard helped in the two-day search for Belhumeur, who was 60 years old.
