PORTLAND -- Three people had to jump into the water from a boat that caught on fire in Northeast Portland Friday, officials said.
Initial reports said the boat was refueling at the Jantzen Beach Gas Dock around 11:30 a.m. when there were some explosions.
The boat was pushed into North Portland Harbor and the three people on board jumped into the water, said Lt. Michael Silva with Portland Fire & Rescue.
A fire boat came on the scene, put out the fire and towed the boat to a nearby ramp.
There were no reported injuries.
