PORTLAND – Officers busted a convicted felon in Northeast Portland with an arsenal of guns, ammunition and body armor Wednesday evening, police said.
Just before 5 p.m., 40-year-old Leroy Sylvester Long was reportedly menacing his brother with a gun at the Fox Run mobile home park at 9000 NE Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., said Sgt. Pete Simpson with Portland police.
Investigators searched Long’s home and found 10 firearms, ammunition and body armor in a large gun safe, Simpson said.
Long was booked in the Multnomah County Jail on charges including 10 counts of felon in possession of a firearm. He may face federal charges in the case.
