PORTLAND – A family of five had to be hospitalized after a drunk driver crashed into their minivan in Southeast Portland Saturday night, police said.

Eusiquio Colores-Galindo, 31, of Southeast Portland, was driving along Stark Street and crossed 139th Avenue at a green light when a pickup truck slammed into the side of his minivan, according to the Portland Police Bureau.

Investigators believe Alfred Louis Randall, 46, also of Southeast Portland, was driving drunk and made a left turn into the Dodge caravan.

Colores-Galindo, his wife and three children – ages 1, 3 and 5 -- were all hurt in the crash and taken to Portland hospitals for treatment, police said. None of their injuries were life-threatening.

Randall was not injured in the crash. He was arrested and booked into the Multnomah County Jail on charges of assault, DUII and reckless driving.
