TUALATIN, Ore. -- An Estacada woman was killed in a crash in Tualatin early Monday morning, police said.
Officers were called just after midnight to the report of a single vehicle crash in the 8500 block of Southwest Tualatin-Sherwood Road, according to Lt. Greg Pickering of the Tualatin Police Department.
Police at the scene found an SUV that had crashed into a tree. The only person in the vehicle, 42-year-old Larissa Marie Ree, was pronounced dead when medical crews arrived.
Witnesses told police the SUV had been moving eastbound when it crossed into the westbound lanes, left the roadway, and crashed head-on into a tree, Pickering said.
The cause of the crash was still under investigation.
